ABOUT LAURA ZAJACZ
Laura is an experienced leader in the games industry with a background in education. For the past 15 years, she has led mobile game teams as a Creative Director, Art Director, and Senior Executive leader at some of the largest video game companies in the world, including Electronic Arts (EA), Glu Mobile, and Capcom. She led a 40+ person game team and owned the creative vision and business for the smash-hit, award-winning mobile game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which has grossed nearly $400M and maintained industry prominence for almost ten years. She grew the Glu Mobile creative team in Toronto from the ground up, notably developing the Stardom franchise and other celebrity games. In the early days of iPhone games, she was the lead artist for the #1 grossing breakout success, Smurfs’ Village at Capcom. She’s also a practicing interdisciplinary artist who plays way too much Animal Crossing.
